At its Annual Meeting, the Estate Planning Council of Rochester elected Lynne M. Carleton, CTFA, CSNP, AEP as President for 2019-20. Lynn is a vice president and trust officer with Tompkins Financial Advisors’ western New York Team based in Pittsford. In this role she is involved with the administration of trusts and estates, as well as custody and investment management accounts.
With more than 30 years of experience in trusts, estates and investment management, Lynn previously spent 10 years with Canandaigua National Bank, two years with Steuben Trust Company and 20 years with Manufacturers and Traders Trust Company.
Ms. Carleton earned her associate degree in applied science from Genesee Community College. She is a Certified Trust and Financial Advisor, Certified Special Needs Planner and Accredited Estate Planner with the National Association of Estate Planners. She has also completed Financial Planning Certification Curriculum as well as the NY State Bankers Association School of Estate and Trust Administration.
She is a member of the CTFA Advisory Board, member of Genesee Community Alumni Council Board, a Loyal Knight for the Elks Lodge #24 and a member of the Rochester Rotary.
A 30 year resident of Batavia, Lynn currently lives in West Henrietta.
