Allen Margolius is a vice president and senior portfolio manager with Tompkins Financial Advisors. He is based in Mount Kisco, NY.
Prior to joining Tompkins, Allen was an associate portfolio manager and senior vice president of research at Palisade Capital Management. Prior to joining Palisade Capital, he served as managing director, equity research analyst at AG Asset Management, where he was responsible for investment ideas across sectors. Prior to AG, he worked at Credit Suisse Asset Management analyzing financial and competitive positions of venture capital distributions and provided buy and sell recommendations to portfolio managers covering $3 billion in small and mid-capitalization portfolios. Allen holds an MBA from The Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania and a BA from Binghamton University. He lives in White Plains with his family.
